THE MUISICANS FREE VIDEO PROJECT

Profile Music Group www.profilemusicgroup.com has been running since July 2009 a voluntary project for musicians of original material called The Band Wagon TV.

The main reasoning behind The Band Wagon Tv is that of accessible and free structured videos for any musician. The Band Wagon TV is a free service to musicians looking to get a new video online, (5 minute acoustic set & 5 minute Interview). We travel to one county for one day per month and interview a set list of original musicians in that county.

The Band Wagon is simply a caravan!. The caravan is equipped with all necessary equipment to record an acoustic song and interview!. Once a musician’s video has been recorded, and all footage editing is completed by ourselves, we place it on our website www.thebandwagontv.com for all to view and hand the footage over to the musician for their use in promoting their material and name.

Some of our high profiled interviews already conducted are Declan O’Rourke, Lisa Hannigan, Damien Dempsey, Gavin Glass, Mundy, Jack L, Mick Flannery, Steve Wickham of The Waterboys, Ham Sandwich, The Lost Brothers, Duke Special including hundreds of other musicians and artist around Ireland.

To date we have travelled to all main counties including Meath (on numerous occassions), Dublin, Cork, Galway, Sligo, Offaly including music festivals such as Le Cheile (Meath), Rock The Lough (Meath), Vantastival (Louth), Astral Plains (Tullamore), Indiependence (Cork), Fleadh 2010 (Cavan).

Musicians looking to avail of interview and video have only to send us an email and we’ll get them slotted into the band wagon when we arrive in their county, there is no selection process, if an artist is willing to perform their material for promotion of their name/band then we’re willing to record and produce their video.
