I am a 23 year-old singer/songwriter from County Meath. I’m really lucky to have started my pub-going years in a very musical town where most nights (if you know where to go) you’ll find all kinds of great live sessions happening! I was a bit of a late bloomer in the musical sense – didn’t start learning to play guitar or writing songs until I was about 15 or 16. I learned mostly by playing along with my friend’s dad and his session band every Monday night in a small pub in Navan and it sort of went from there!
Over the last 3 years, I’ve started to focus on writing and playing my own songs. My first proper original music gig was at the Backroom Sessions in 2007 which led to a steady flow of open-mic nights and support slots and eventually my first headline gig J. I’ve had the opportunity to share a stage with some great acts like Cathy Davey, Little Palace, Sarah Lee Guthrie and recently supported Eugene Donegan on his “Tonight Is the Night” single tour
